SUMMARY
As IntelyCare’s Payroll Manager, you’ll be a key player to our organization's smooth operations. After all, this role is responsible for making sure employees receive accurate, timely pay. But running bi-weekly or weekly payroll isn’t the only responsibility of our payroll manager. This role is also essential for maintaining compliance with tax and HR laws and delivering a positive employee experience within our Finance team.

What You’ll Do
- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including additional payments, bonus, commissions.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Determines payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes, and employer’s social security, and unemployment tax.
- Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests from Internal and external sources
- Identifies processes and efficiencies and maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures as needed.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising manager on needed actions.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential and professional.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Completes operational requirements by delegating, scheduling, and assigning employees, following up on work results.
- Learn and understand our internal and external technology and integrations to ADP WFN function and own the process
- Manage payroll for more than 6000 weekly paid per diem employees and over 200 biweekly
- Respond to all tax notices
- Responsible for vendor management
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- ADP Workforce Now Experience using Multi-J
- Multi-state expertise
- More than 5 years Payroll Experience
- Managed a team previously
- Ability to work Independently and problem solve is essential
- Be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
- Can work in a fast-paced, fast-growth environment
- Strong Excel skills
- Have prior public company experience
- Knowledge in mergers and acquisitions
