*Job Summary* As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. You will handle cash, credit, and check transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system. *Duties* - Greet customers entering the establishment - Scan items, provide prices, and accept payments - Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Answer customer questions and provide information about products or services - Upsell products or services when appropriate - Process returns and exchanges - Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner *Qualifications* - Proficiency in basic math skills for cash handling - Experience with retail math and POS systems is a plus - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with patience - Previous experience in sales or retail sales is beneficial - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Supervisory experience is advantageous but not required - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
