We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Four Points By Sheraton , York , PA. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel's food and beverage department, ensuring that guests receive high-quality service and that the hotel's standards for food and beverage are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising and training the food and beverage staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Managing the inventory of food and beverages, including ordering supplies and ensuring that the hotel has enough stock to meet the demands of guests
- Planning and organizing events in the hotel, such as banquets, conferences, and weddings
- Ensuring that all food served in the hotel meets the hotel's standards for quality and safety
- Managing the budgets for the food and beverage department of the hotel, including monitoring expenses and ensuring that the department operates within its budget
- Resolving guest complaints related to food and beverage service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Supervisor in a hotel or similar environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, including proper handling and storage of food
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
