Barista

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Offer quick, correct, precise and friendly service that is respectful and accommodating of the guest's requests of selections and timeliness of service Describe menu items to guests and/or suggest products that might be appealing by explaining the product details and preparation descriptions Stock necessary products for the successful operation of the outlet Stock customer stations with paper products of beverage preparation items Weight, grind and pack coffee beans as needed Complete all side work Offer guests an enjoyable and expertly served coffee experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence, quality, professionalism and friendliness Prepare and serve hot and/or cold specialty coffees, wine and various beverages. Clean and sanitize work station daily Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators and/or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning Control cleanliness in the area Assist in the overall operation of the outlet whenever needed Inform the manager or assistant of all customer complaints and makes appropriate efforts to correct the problem Always offer professional and engaging service Maintain a good working relationship with other employees Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation Other duties and projects as assigned Ability to multi-task and work on multiple drink orders at once The Barista position requires continuous standing for up to 8 hours a day The ideal candidate will have a confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
