We are seeking a Medical Records Specialist to join our team! You will perform administrative functions in order to drive timely patient care and business success. Medical insurance experience is strongly preferred. Staff hours are 8:30am-5:00pm Monday - Friday. Benefits are available after 90-day probationary period. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Duties include but not limited to:
  • Obtain physician documentation that is sufficient for payer guidelines to provide prosthetic services
  • Data entry of patient demographics and patient information
  • Maintain HIPAA Compliance
  • Answer inbound telephone calls
  • Scan documents into EMR document management
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in healthcare office administration
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A FULL PANEL DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18 to $20 per hour
