Fowler High Precision’ is looking to expand their Finance and Accounting team with an experienced Accounting Manager who will be responsible for assisting the Director of Finance in providing financial oversight and carrying out various functions of general accounting.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all vendors and to ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
Responsibilities:
· Accurately review, code and process vendor invoices in the correct period
· Match inventory supplier invoices to receipts and purchase orders
· Handle all credits and apply to vendor invoices accordingly
· Review and reconcile billing discrepancies
· Perform monthly reconciliations of various general ledger accounts
· Review and code employee expense reports and process reimbursements
· Review vendor master file and inactivate vendors as needed
· Ensure that the company is not overcharged for any goods or services
· Reconcile open bills to vendor statements
· Process payments to vendors in accordance with vendor payment terms
· Track all vendor prepayments to ensure they are applied to vendor invoices once received
· Record all corporate credit card expenses in NetSuite
· Complete year end 1099 reporting and filing
· Assist with the year-end financial audit and any other regulatory audits
· Assist with ad hoc office tasks and employee events
Minimum Requirements:
· Associates degree in business related field
· Three or more years of experience in Accounts Payable
· Experience at a company that sells inventory
· Excellent customer service skills including oral and written communication
· Strong organizational skills
· Analytical and problem-solving skills
· Detail oriented
· Ability to multi-task
· Ability to work independently and as a team player
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including strong Microsoft Excel skills
· Experience with NetSuite preferred
· Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
Work Environment:
This position is a combination of remote and in-office work environment.

The essential functions of this job require the ability to: stand, walk, and sit; light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, FLSA non-exempt position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week during standard business hours.
