What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard position at Fox Chapel Racquet Club?
Responsible to ensure swimming pools at the Fox Chapel Racquet Club (FCRC) is run in accordance with the Allegheny County Department of Health regulations and policy of Fox Chapel Racquet Club. The position ensures the safety and well-being of persons using the swimming facilities of Fox Chapel Racquet Club.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the enforcement of FCRC swimming pool policy and procedures.
Oversees the lifeguarding of the Racquet Club swimming pools.
Assist in exercise programs for the benefit of the Club members.
Completes all water and condition testing of the swimming pools and maintains a record of such testing as required by law; ensures the water is properly treated with chemicals to maintain proper cleanliness and hygiene.
Ensures proper equipment is available at the pool site and regularly inspects equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
Maintain the cleanliness of the pool and deck area.
Qualifications

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Certified lifeguard with current valid certification in American Red Cross Standard First Aid or it's equivalent. The applicant shall have current and valid certifications in adult, child, and infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) from the American Red Cross or equivalent.
