As a Full-Time Painter at Performance Fab in Seymour, WI, you’ll dive into a vibrant role where you prep materials for industrial priming and painting like a pro! Your day will involve pressure washing, sanding, and taping off surfaces, all leading to a flawless finish. You’ll skillfully unload deliveries and transport items to their designated spots while ensuring everything remains safe and sound.

Planning is key, so you’ll gather tools and materials according to provided specifications, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace. Collaboration is vital, as you’ll communicate with the Foreman about upcoming orders, conduct quality checks on fabricated materials, and quickly notify supervisors of any defects. And let’s not forget—occasional onsite priming and painting adds a dash of adventure!

To thrive as a Full-Time Painter at Performance Fab in Seymour, WI, you’ll need a unique blend of skills and enthusiasm! A valid Class D driver’s license is essential, and if you have a CDL A, that’s a big bonus! Flexibility is key, as you may need to adapt your hours and travel. You should possess a thorough understanding of various painting materials and tools, including paint guns, sprayers, and setup materials. Having experience painting on different surface types is a must, while any background in welding, drilling, or light fabrication will certainly set you apart.

If you’re also familiar with forklift operation, you’ll fit right in! Your industrial painting experience will serve as the foundation of your success, allowing you to create stunning finishes while embodying our fun and energetic culture at Performance Fab!

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Driver’s license Class D required CDL A is a plus.
• Ability to have flexible hours and willingness to travel when required.
• Thorough understanding of painting materials and tools including paint gun sprayer and set-up materials.
• Welding drilling  and light fabrication experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience painting a variety of surface types is required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Industrial painting experience is required.
