Production Inspector

Position Summary:

Inspects products during and after production, ensuring adherence to specifications and conformance to company standards.

Position Responsibilities:

• Checks various aspects of products and verifies accuracy.
• Marks defects, removes rejects, setting them aside for repair or disposal by classifier, and reports conditions requiring immediate attention.
• Uses acquired job knowledge of acceptable standards and advanced inspection methods to conduct quality inspections.
• Ensures employees follow the standard codes in the manufacturing process.
• Records pass/fail grade of products.
• Produces detailed reports.
• Observes dials, gauges and indicators to make sure that a machine is working properly.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Technical or associate’s degree in a related area preferred

Experience:

2 years of relevant manufacturing experience required

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Manufacturing Environment

Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time

Compensation Range

$17 - $23

The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Fox reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
