Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in multiple offices for an Intellectual Property Patent Prosecution Associate. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of patent prosecution and patent application drafting, leading inventor meetings, and developing patent strategy. Experience assisting with patent litigation and/or post grant proceedings a plus. We are not accepting resumes from search firms for this position at this time.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the state where the office resides.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Patent preparation and prosecution experience required.
• Technical degree required, with preference given to Mechanical Engineering.
• USPTO registration required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Compensation & Benefits

• The salary range for this position applies to New York. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $205,000 - $260,000 in New York.
