Fox Run: The Center for Children and Adolescents , a subsidiary of UHS, is recruiting for Team Lead/Mental Health Technician on our 2nd shift - 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Located in St. Clairsville (OH), this 100-bed facility thrives on passionate and dedicated personnel, while incorporating innovative technology and therapies for the betterment of our patients. Responsibilities and Duties

You will work in cooperation with the Unit Manager to monitor and ensure that the program schedule is being followed as assigned

You will actively respond to, provide assistance for, and ensure that staff utilizes the appropriate interventions with any and all situations.

You will assign staff breaks and cover those breaks

You will ensure the safety and well-being of our residents

You will assist and monitor daily living activities

You will model appropriate social skills and set firm yet caring/nurturing limits

You will react therapeutically in a crisis situation and respond to residents with empathy and respect

You will work within a team framework to ensure excellent care for our residents

Qualifications and Skills

1 year minimum leadership experience in behavioral health/mental health or related healthcare field in a residential treatment care setting for children and/or adolescents.

High school graduate or equivalent required.

Some college coursework in psychology or mental health related field preferred.
