A day in the life of the Marketing Manager may include:
- Leading, managing and collaborating with marketing team members for personal and team development, including workload and division of team responsibilities.
- Collaborating with team and divisional leaders to create and implement marketing plans and content calendars to proactively promote the brand while maximizing vendor partnership and lead generation activities.
- Overseeing project management to coach and elevate the quality of the team’s output and provide thought leadership for new ideation including all promotions, collateral and advertising activities.
- Managing workflow of marketing requests from all areas of the organization and ensure projects and campaigns are effectively created, communicated and implemented.
- Daily oversight to the marketing budget, including an understanding of the cost/benefit of all channels, vendor/partner marketing opportunities and return-on-investment of initiatives.
- Hands-on approach to assist the team as backup to accommodate workload, as needed.
- Owning the strategy and execution of public relations as well as community brand management as related to philanthropic strategy.
- Routinely investing in industry knowledge through participation in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks, staying abreast of industry and marketing trends for creativity and thought leadership.
- Fostering a culture of positivity and engagement throughout the department and organization.
- Maintaining a favorable and collaborative working relationship with team members in all departments to foster an environment of trust and mutual respect. Driving standards and best practices whenever possible and effectively fostering a culture of engagement.
- Enhancing the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Being innovative and recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures to inspire continual improvements in efficiency of operations and services performed.
- Other duties, projects and alternate assignments as determined by business need.

This opportunity might be for you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of progressive and multifaceted marketing experience with at least three years in a team management role.
- Experience with both business to business marketing concepts as well as business to consumer.
- Proven experience leading brand management.
- Experience developing and implementing organizational, promotional, and vendor-specific marketing plans.
- Proven success with an omnichannel marketing approach.
- Technical fluency with Microsoft Office and exposure to digital graphics programs, including Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat.
- Knowledge and experience with marketing automation and customer relationship management tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Thorough knowledge of marketing and design fundamentals across multiple platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a solid foundation in grammar and positioning, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while demonstrating the ability to remain flexible in a changing work environment with strong change management coaching and support.
- Ability to work flexible hours in the event of occasional events and meetings.
- Self-motivation; demonstrated initiative with a strong commitment to personal goals, objectives and work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while balancing a strong “find-a-way” mindset with enthusiastic, positive leadership.
