The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing production operations including planning, budgeting, scheduling, ensuring equipment maintenance and production control, improving internal processes, and providing safety and regulatory compliance training to staff.
Duties/Responsibilities
· Oversee production engineering and production operations departments to ensure maximum efficiency and quality in the testing, manufacturing, and production of electronic products.
· Develop operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures.
· Manage departmental cost and control expenses effectively
· Implement action plans to ensure a cost-effective and high quality production
· Inspect and maintain production equipment
· Analyze production labor requirements, implementing appropriate decisions within Current Operating Expenditures (COE) budget.
· Create and sustain a continuous improvement environment
· Prepare expense and headcount budgets
· Reallocate or adjust schedule in accordance with available resources and capacity
Skills/Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
· 8-10 years of management and manufacturing experience
· Management experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
· Strong communications and organizational skills
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions and continuous improvement in all areas
· Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional team members
· Understanding of inventory and scheduling to meet efficiency standards and deadline
· Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
