The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for the full life cycle recruitment of technology-based requisitions. This individual will partner across the company to develop and execute strategies to source, attract, onboard, and retain high quality talent for technical, leadership, and professional positions. In addition to talent acquisition activities, the Corporate Recruiter also assists HR and talent related processes and tasks, as well as helps us build a strong employer brand and positive candidate experiences.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborates with hiring managers to create job descriptions and external postings for current openings.
- Advertises job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks (e.g. LinkedIn)
- Participate in job fairs to boost company’s reputation
- Specialize in the recruitment of software engineers
- Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on hiring processes
- Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
- Report to hiring managers and HR managers on the status of open positions
- Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance
- Update job descriptions (e.g. add tasks or modify requirements)
- Answer candidates’ queries regarding the application process
- Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements and Ideal Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 3 years of human resources experience, including at a business partnership level, recruiting, interviewing and assessing candidates for best company fit.
- 3 years of Production, Engineering, Software, or IT recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment is necessary
- Experience in development of proactive staffing strategies
- Requires a keen ability to create trusted relationships at all levels and must include a consultative, thoughtful approach.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
