Since launching our native app in 2013, we now operate a robust e-commerce business and have opened 20 retail stores in Chicago, DC, Dallas, and Austin, and are rapidly scaling to take this first-of-its-kind omnichannel brand nationwide.
About the Role
As a Shift Leader, you will assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager by leading and coaching the team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations during your shift, which may include leading a team and managing the cafe, customer experience, and/or online ordering.
\n- Delegate tasks & zones to store team members, including yourself, to ensure optimal operations on both in-store retail & delivery fulfillment
- Complete store opening & closing tasks in detail and with thoroughness, serving as a trusted key holder.
- Serve as a go-to for store team members, in the absence of a manager, to assist & escalate as needed.
- Assist in training new store team members during their onboarding, to build a top-notch experience.
- Greet guests with warmth and hospitality. Educate & answer guests’ questions on Foxtrot products & store layout.
- Ensure key business initiatives are offered for our guests, i.e. Membership.
- Must be 18 to handle alcohol transactions
- Able to work in a team & independently
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds of boxes, and to use stairs regularly & safely
- Strong communication skills
- Passion & excitement for trending, high-quality goods, especially in food and beverage
- Punctual and reliable
- Previous retail experience is helpful, but not required
- Availability of at least 20 hours per week, including some weekends, is required
- Pay rate starts at $17 per hour
