What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Manager position at FPC of Wake Forest?
FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Materials Manager for a rapidly growing client in the medical devices space. This company is well-known for the development of a proprietary technology and a one-of-a-kind patient support program focused on non-invasive pain relief.
So, what will you be doing as Materials Manager?
-Provide leadership and direction to Shipping/Receiving, Asset Tracking, and Vendor Mangement
-Develop inventory plans based on forecast
-Create and improve processes around planning, procurement, logistics, and distribution
-Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Supply Chain team
What you will need to be successful:
-BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or another related field
-7 years of experience leading Supply Chain teams
-Proven ability to develop and implement process and supporting metrics (KPI)
-Prior experience with ERP systems
-Prior experience in the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry
Other things considered a plus:
-MBA
-CPIM certification
-Prior experience working in a “start-up” environment
