The Desktop Support Engineer provides daily local and remote desktop support for our Corporate and Site employees. This position will require most support to be provided over the phone. The candidate must be willing to work on a variety tasks to meet the daily demands in IT. Has technical support experience, strong Windows Operating systems, Office, and networking abilities, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with a variety of clients and internal staff verbal and written communication skills, superior technical skills, an eye for detail and an aptitude for logic and problem solving, and is a self-motivated quick learner.
POSITION DETAILS
- Hourly Compensation: $23- $23
- Bonus Eligible
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Help Desk support environment.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
- Valid Driver’s License and insured operable vehicle.
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Provide technical support over the phone or ticketing system.
- Good understanding of Windows, printers, copiers and mobile devices.
- Install and configure software and computer systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware.
- Maintain procedures that provide technical support to the entire organization.
- Test, evaluate, and make decisions about new technology for the business.
- Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion.
- Analytical thinker and problem-solving capability.
- Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
- A team player with excellent communication skills. Willingness to constantly learn new skills, try new things, and push the boundaries of your comfort zone
