Job Summary
The Purchasing coordinator is responsible for managing the purchase of products and services for the company. It is their responsibility to assess vendors, and place orders for products and projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop profitable & timely purchasing strategies to meet production demands.
· Analyze usage trends, sets stock re-order levels and minimum/maximum stock levels.
· Maintain computerized, manual files, and purchasing records for the purpose of inventory, equipment repairs and cost.
· Order and receive inventory, parts, supplies and equipment.
· Manage relationships with key suppliers and OEMs.
· Contact vendors and resolves inconsistencies in pricings, core changes, restocking charges, receipts, delivery charges, warranties, and quality issues with vendors.
· Work with shop personnel to determine needs for each project on shop floor.

Education:
High School Diploma and prior related experience required; Associate Degree preferred.
Work Experience and/or Skills:
. 2 to 3 years of related documented experience in a new equipment manufacturing environment.

· Possess a “Can Do” attitude
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
