Position Summary
As a Human Resources Representative , you will play a pivotal role in supporting our employees, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to our talent acquisition efforts. This position reports to the HR Generalist and involves a range of responsibilities related to OSHA compliance, record-keeping, job fairs, and overseeing our intern program
Essential Functions
OSHA Compliance
Maintain OSHA 300 logs and ensure accurate and up-to-date records of workplace injuries and illnesses.
Collaborate with the safety department to implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
Employee Records Management:
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, training records, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and company requirements related to record-keeping.
Talent Acquisition and Job Fairs:
Participate in job fairs, career expos, and recruitment events to attract potential candidates.
Coordinate and conduct interviews, reference checks, and background screenings as part of the hiring process.
Intern Program Management:
Oversee the company's intern program, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support for interns.
Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions and career development organizations to attract top talent.
HR Support:
Provide HR support to employees and management, addressing inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Support orientation and onboarding efforts for DOL and DOT.
Assist with employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement processes.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Prepare and submit HR-related reports and data as required.
