Framatome is seeking a PC Technician I for our Old Forest Road office in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Under minimal supervision provides computer support in analyzing and evaluating corporate computer systems and equipment. Provides resolution to routine technical problems. May work in a variety of technical areas such as engineering, process computer support, maintenance and operations. Reviews progress and updates management, as needed.
- Installs, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains personal computers (PC), printers, multi-function devices and desktop peripherals.
- Performs board level diagnostics.
- Performs disposition of outdated equipment.
- May load new applications on workstations.
- Plays an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and complies with all applicable safety and health rules.
- Travel to alternate Lynchburg work sites may be required as needed (OFR, MRR, MAR)

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:
- H.S. diploma or associate’s degree with 2 years related experience
The following may be used to differentiate candidates who apply for this position:
- 2 years related experience working with personal computers installation and troubleshooting, software applications including Microsoft Office 365, Adobe applications, and personal printers installation and troubleshooting.
- 2 years experience and Microsoft certifications or 2 years experience working with Microsoft (Windows) based computer systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge in a particular field of specialization
- Good problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Good communication skills including the ability to comprehend and convey detailed technical data
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
