As a Quality Engineer in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:
- Plans, schedules and conducts independent assessments and surveillance of materials and products.
- Reviews documents, prepares checklists, conducts assessment interviews and prepares assessment reports.
- Ensures and documents that corrective actions are taken based on report findings.
- Reviews QA procedures to verify compliance with ASME , ANSI and NRC regulations.
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of NRC or other pertinent regulations and industry codes and standards.
- Develops and implements nuclear and/or non-nuclear quality assurance procedures to be followed for design, procurement, construction and/or operation of materials and/or processes.
- Reviews quality assurance specifications, test reports and other documentation to ensure that safety and quality assurance requirements are met.
- May inspect and review contractors' and vendors' work for compliance with QA standards.

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $81,000 - $105,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
