Job Posting for Dispenser at Framfield House Surgery
About the Role Framfield House Surgery is looking to welcome a qualified dispenser into our busy in house dispensary, on a part time basis, with the hours to suit the successful applicant, who will play a full and active role as part of the practice multi-disciplinary team.
The main responsibilities of the role include :
- Maintain an efficient, accurate dispensing service to our patients.
- Provide a professional dispensing service to our patients.
- Label, dispense and check acute and repeat medication.
- Support the team with additional duties applicable to the role.
- Administration tasks associated within the dispensary team.
About the Candidate If you are an experienced dispenser looking for an exciting new role, then we'd love to hear from you.
You will have the following skills and experience :
- You will have at least a Diploma Level 2 / 3 Dispensary or equivalent Pharmacy Services qualification.
- At least 2 years (or equivalent) dispensary and pharmacy experience.
- Excellent clinical and medication knowledge.
- Understanding and experience of working as a dispenser in a GP practice setting.
- The commitment to continue to learn new clinical skills and develop your career.
- The confidence to work as part of a busy GP multi-disciplinary practice team and using your own initiative in decision making.
- The ability to be adaptable and flexible in your approach.
- Excellent patient facing inter-personal communication skills.
- Good working conditions.
