Tobacco company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients. Your primary focus will be on technical sales and providing excellent customer service. Essential Functions:

Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.

Travel throughout assigned territory. Call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or additional business (overnight travel is required).

Maintain updated customer information.

Assist with the preparation of customer Power Point Presentations.

Present product features and benefits to new and current customers utilizing all available sales tools.

Promote growth opportunities within existing and potential accounts.

Quote prices, credit terms and prepare distribution agreements for orders obtained from retailers.

Supply retailers with products and POS material as needed.

Prepare reports of business transactions and maintain expense account.

Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.

Investigate and resolve customer problems.

Assist Territory and Route Sales representatives with Key Account calls when needed.

Assist AR with the collection of past due accounts.

Assist with duties at the branch as requested by management.

Attend sales training, management meetings and trade shows as requested.

Nonessential Job Functions:

Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three (3 ) years of sales experience in consumer goods.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Excellent Organizational Skills.

Valid Driver’s License with acceptable current and future driving record.

Basic (Word & Excel) Computer Skills, including email with ability to save & send attachments.

Professional appearance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
