Frank Beverage Group in Middleton, WI is now hiring for a Graphic Designer. The Sign Shop Graphic Designer is responsible for producing signage for liquor and beer customers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Learn product portfolio
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on supplier and customer requests using esthetic design concepts or from supplier provided templates
- Access supplier websites to utilize graphics logos, images and templates current for requested signage
- Prepare proofs discussing them with customers, salespeople or supervisors and make necessary changes
- Determine appropriate materials to use for signage depending on intended use, where the sign will be displayed, and how long the sign will be on display
- Print and finish signage
- Maintain archive of images, photos and previous work
Skills and Abilities Include:
- Graphics experience preferred
- Proficiency with Graphics software (Corel and Adobe)
- Familiarity with large format printers, digital press, laminators
- Understanding of sign finishing and production basics
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and as a part of a team
- Attention to detail and well organized
- Effective oral and written communication skills including accuracy and spelling
- Ability to handle adversity and pressure with ease
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and work quickly
Physical Requirements Include:
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to crouch reach and grasp
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
