The Role You'll Play to Create Success
We are happy to announce a full-time Group Benefits Director position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by promoting sales and client retention through excellent customer service and leadership of the employee benefits administration program.
- Provides leadership and guidance, and ensures compliance with Federal and state regulations in the administration of both PEO-sponsored and open market group and voluntary benefit plans including medical, dental, life, disability, flexible spending accounts, supplemental plans, worksite products, etc.
- Manages and maintains responsibility for overall insurance book performance to ensure the health of PEO-sponsored master health and benefit plans.
- Works with and manages relationships with key insurance carriers and consultants with a focus on health underwriting.
- Oversees and maintains key responsibility for ongoing compliance of the FrankCrum-sponsored 401(k) Plan.
- Surveys industry and/or community to determine the company’s competitive position in employee benefits. Ensures that programs meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective. Recommends new or improved benefit plan designs, policies, and cost saving measures.
- Assists worksite employees and clients with complex and critical benefit matters as the highest client-facing escalation point to ensure prompt, courteous resolution.
- Oversees all aspects of the open enrollment process, health plan renewals, and communication with vendors and internal teams.
- Oversees the reconciliation of the PEO master health and benefit plans and payment of benefits related invoices.
- Manages and facilitates various vendor relationships that support the products that are offered and available to FrankCrum clients and employees.
- Provides strategic insight to benefits sales and benefit product initiatives to continue to enhance the benefits options available to our clients and assist in the responsible participation growth of the master health and benefit plans.
- Trains, mentors and develops direct reports to ensure optimal department performance.
- Collaborates effectively within the department and supporting teams, specifically PEO Sales, to ensure our benefits strategy is competitive and supports new business sales.
The Attributes We Seek
Keys to success in this position include a Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field. Three (3) years of employee benefits/benefits administration leadership experience. Five (5) years of supervisory experience.
