Frankie's Downtown in Dallas is seeking a Manger with FOH experience to join our family. This role supports the management team and ensures that the restaurant operates within Frankie's guidelines while meeting/exceeding sales and profitability objectives. The qualified candidate understands what it takes to deliver a great guest experience and knows how to motivate staff to ensure the same. Though the position is primarily one of staff overwatch and guest relations, it also requires the accomplishment of certain administrative functions such as checklists and cash-handling.
Frankie's is open late-night, 7 days a week (Sun-Thu 11:00am-midnight, Fri & Sat 11:00am-2:00am). This high-profile manager can count on closing 2 nights per week as well as working weekends. This is a hands-on position that requires active participation in the restaurant's operations as well as the training, motivation and mentoring of the staff create a 5-star atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Ensure company policy is followed.
· Provide leadership and direction to all team members to ensure efficient operation.
· Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
· Check out staff on duty per positions checklist.
· Complete comps and voids as needed per our comp policy.
· Complete all tasks assigned by General Manager and Assistant GM on time. You will coach employees and ensure that they adhere to the establishment's procedures and policies.
· Diffusing tense situations between patrons or staff members to prevent possible safety or legal issues, ejecting unruly persons, if needed.
· Customer satisfaction and the handling of complaints will be one of your core responsibilities.

· Learn and maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus.
· Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health and safety requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
· Must be familiar with and able to enforce the staff on the proper TABC serving laws and protocol.
· Prepare any required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner as required.
· Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
· Work closely with restaurant management team to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining & drinking experience
· Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
· Any other duty/responsibility that management may deem necessary.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma/GED required
· Be 21 years of age
· 2 years' Restaurant Management experience required and has a strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.
· Must be able to work on your feet all day (up to 5 or more hours)
· Proficiency in Word & Excel a plus
· Have knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least two years of front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant management positions.
· Proficiency of restaurant POS software (specifically Toast POS) a plus.
· Any other duty/responsibility that the General Manager or Assistant GM may deem necessary.
· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
· Performing a variety of tasks with a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in the Frankie's Downtown training materials. Must attend and successfully complete the Frankie's Downtown Management training program prior to working a shift without supervision. Must successfully attend and complete all other required training in compliance with local and state regulations, such as Manager food and/or alcohol service certifications. Must have their TABC license and Managers Food Handlers License Up to Date within 30 days of employment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this role, the Frankie's Manager is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or carry objects, product, or controls; and talk or hear. The Frankie's MOD frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. They must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this role, the FOH Manager is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles from the kitchen. The FOH Manager is also occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, when in the dish area or walk-in cooler, and sometimes uses toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning. The noise level at Frankie's is usually loud.
