We are now expanding our team of Success Coaches and are on the hunt for highly motivated, passionate people who fit the bill. As a Success Coach, you will get the opportunity to make positive and impactful changes in the career paths of the apprentices you support. We are seeking skilled professionals with a proven track record and experience in leading people, projects, and teams. You must have a passion for mentoring and developing people and possess a growth mindset.

This role includes a one-year Registered Apprenticeship Program, resulting in certification as a Professional Success Coach.

What you need to do 
  • Play a pivotal role in the delivery of our tech apprenticeship programs
  • Coach our technology apprentices by being their point of contact at Franklin while they are in the Franklin Apprenticeships training program and offer support via email and scheduled virtual meetings
  • Be the point of contact for our client companies to help guide them through the apprenticeship process and handle any questions or concerns related to their apprentices
  • At any given time, you will handle 30-50 apprentices who are in our training program for 12-18 months; apprentices will roll on and roll off the program at various times
  • Conduct confidential, 1-1 coaching sessions per week with your apprentices by phone or video call
  • Conduct 5-7 confidential, group coaching sessions per week with your mentors/frontline managers and their apprentices by phone or video call
  • Conduct 1-2 confidential, group coaching sessions per week with your mentors/frontline managers, upper-level supervisors, and their apprentices by phone or video call for a quarterly business-level check-in and report
  • Mentor and lead these eager professionals while they obtain multiple industry-recognized technology certifications and begin careers that will change their lives
  • Be responsible for the management and accurate record keeping of competency evidence for each apprentice’s portfolio through the utilization of internal databases – Franklin Skills Tracker; this will require 10-15 minutes of note taking per 1:1 session described above
  • Collect evidence that new skills and competencies are being earned by the apprentice each week, utilizing the types of evidence allowed in the Standard
  • Work to prove that each job function in the Standard is met and that the apprentice is competent in that skill, and that you can prove that with evidence that can stand up to a government or quality assurance audit

  • Ability to build meaningful and authentic relationships with people that will make a real difference in their lives and career
  • Proven experience managing projects in a client-facing environment
  • Be self-aware and emotionally intelligent
  • Be self-motivated to learn a new industry and understand the needs of an employer
  • Skilled in a digital environment; experience in working with remote teams and independently, using technology to maintain high levels of performance
  • Possess strong organizational skills. You need to be able to manage the progression of 30-50 people at a time, plus interact with their managers
  • Be an excellent multi-tasker with the ability to support individuals on different learning paths with different learning needs
  • Comfortable having meaningful conversations including giving and receiving feedback from apprentices and business leaders
  • Be a skilled communicator, able to identify preferences and tailor communication to the audience or individual to achieve desired outcomes – quality interpersonal communication is key
  • Organized and processed oriented – it is critical that all systems and plans are updated in real-time
  • Have a proactive mentality with a desire to continuously improve in all ways of problem-solving at problem solving and resolution
  • Able to set and deliver to deadlines while motivating others to do the same
Must reside in Eastern Time zone
Bi-lingual Portuguese is highly preferred
