Human Resources Director
Salary range: $32.27-$40.00
Franklin County Government is seeking qualified applicants for Human Resources Director.
Duties include: Performs job recruiting functions such advertising, screening, and interviewing job applicants. Processes and maintains worker’s comp and family medical leave. Handles employee orientation and open enrollment. Policy development and documentation. Preparation of health, life, dental and vision bids. Compliance with local, state, and federal agencies, law and regulations, including but not limited to: ERISA, COBRA, HIPPA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO, ADA, OSHA and USERRA. Back-up to the Payroll Administrator.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and ten years experience in a human resources field preferred. PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills. Ability to exercise good judgement and a high level of confidentiality.
