ABOUT THE POSITION Our Resident Hygiene Aides serve a vital role in providing compassionate care in our Long Term Care facility, providing dignity for residents by ensuring their cleanliness.

More specifically, some of your daily responsibilities would include : Bathing residents by showering, tub bathing, or bed bathingTransporting residents to or from the bathing room as neededCleaning residents' skin and shampooing hairChecking skin for lesions, bruises, abrasions, or skin tears, and reporting findings to the assigned skin nurse or charge nurseApplying ointments, sprays, lotions, powders, or deodorantsMaintaining the bathing room by cleaning the tub, transporting laundry, filling disinfectant and soap bottles, and other upkeepWorking closely with the residents, CNA Resident Hygiene Aides are vital to their physical and emotional wellbeing and can experience deep fulfillment from providing for their needs.

RequirementsQualifications Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Idaho or willing to obtain your CNA within 120 days of hireMust be CPR-certifiedMust have a working knowledge of basic healthcare equipment including wheelchairs, electrical beds, lift equipment, carts, scales, and vital sign analysis equipmentMust be able to competently and positively work with residents, other employees, and the publicEssential Job Functions Regular and predictable attendance is requiredRegularly required to stand;
