Description
Responsible for managing and overseeing all warehouse functions, warehouse employees, and inventory control. Ensures accuracy in inventory and manages process flow, workloads, and assists with continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures orders are shipped correctly and on time and utilizing the most cost-effective methods.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintenance.
- Ensures inventory accuracy through receipt of finished goods. Utilizes the digital inventory control system to maintain accurate counts. Organizes the warehouse in an efficient manner.
- Determines the proper shipping method, balancing the needs of customer and corporate goals.
- Reviews and approves invoices and billing.
- Provides product application sizing when necessary for assigned products. Completes quotes for the sale of finished goods through the customer service database.
- Processes paperwork for returned materials and warranty refunds.
- Maintains inventory accuracy through monthly/quarterly audits.
- Assists with shipping and receiving and warehouse maintenance as needed.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises supervisory and/or non-supervisory employee(s).
- Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Working with Human Resources on employee issues.

- Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work; may also occasionally assist in planning work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.
- Frequently makes decisions of both minor and major importance, which may affect the work operations of other employees and/or clientele to a moderate degree.
- Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
- Uses noncomplex machines and equipment (adding machines, calculators, copy/fax machines, etc.).
Education and Experience
- Equivalent of four years of high school (required). Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or related field preferred.
- Five to seven years of relevant experience (required).
Computer Skills

Intermediate: Alphanumeric data entry, spreadsheet.

Basic: Word processing/typing.
