JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for developing complex production artwork and executing design templates based on approved package designs. Communicate with customers, prepress, and production to obtain any information necessary to produce print and packaging accurately. Produce 3D Illustrations and proofs of packaging concepts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Under general supervision, produce and maintain production artwork in compliance with guidelines and proofs, Package Engineering specifications, copy, Regulatory and Trademark requirements.
Construct all production files to ensure that they process correctly and smoothly through Prepress. Ensure the accuracy of the packaging art file database and comply with file management protocol to avoid file duplication.
Review packaging proofs for accuracy and print quality.
Review color standards and work with the Art Production supervisor, Global Design Manager or designers to correct nonconforming standards and discrepancies between approved standards and printed components. Review Master Color Standard listings from print suppliers. Filing and returning color standards to print suppliers.
Review of incoming printed components with questionable color and/or print quality.
Lead/mentor junior team members on file construction, production artwork process and color management
Create 3D packaging images. Upload to Digital Asset Management database.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
2 Years of College, associate degree, Major in Graphics Arts or Advertising
4 Years College, BA in Graphic Arts, Major in Graphic Design, preferred
At least 6 Years of computer art production experience with an emphasis on packaging art production.
8 years of strong computer art production experience in a variety of packaging mediums, preferred
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
