As an IT Specialist at FHU, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting our company's IT systems and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our technology operates smoothly and efficiently to support our mission. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer service.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  

Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including end-user devices, IOT devices, networking equipment, and peripherals.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.

- Respond promptly to user requests for technical support and provide timely resolution to IT-related problems.

- Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels and security measures are in place.

- Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to safeguard company data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with other departments to identify technological needs and propose solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for technology improvements and upgrades.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience                      

Two year college program certificate; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Comptia A , Network , Security or related certification is a plus, but can be obtained after hire.
