We provide a membership based boating experience with access to a diverse fleet of boats and boater experiences with an emphasis on a “No Hassel” approach to enjoying being on the water
Dock Master--Freedom Boat Club is currently looking for Dock Masters to assist in operations at our Lake Lewisville location located at Pier 121 Marina. Full and Part Time positions are available. Weekends and Summer Holidays are required
Reports to: Dock Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Operates, refuels, docks, and ties up motorboats up to 26 feet – Boating experience preferred
- Cleans and maintains boats in a “like new” condition prior to and after each member use
- Use of a tablet-based computerized Point of Sale (POS) Reservation System for member check out and check in
- Dress requirements include Freedom Boat Club shirt (provided), khaki pants / shorts and closed toed, dock appropriate shoes
- Will perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and skills
- 17 years old. Valid driver’s license
- Dependable, Strong team player, always be willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed
- Exceptional customer service skills are needed
- Must be flexible - willing to work a varied schedule
Essential Functions:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use arms hands and fingers, crouch, crawl, kneel, climb with balance. Ability to lift to 25 pounds handling awkwardly sized items
- Work long days outdoors and in moderately inclement weather
- Job involves the use of mechanical and electrical equipment, moving parts and gasoline powered engines
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
