- Analyze job locations for utility line, to complete construction activities without defects, safety incidents or any type of property damage
- Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the job and operate within a short time frame
- Load material or equipment for transport from yard to job site and secure as appropriate
- Place, remove or maintain underground utilities as directed
- Carrying conduit, fiber optic cable, bags of material and other heavy items.
- Installation of underground ducts, and handholes with trenching.
- Work to be performed at NASCAR tracks.

Full description
Skilled worker who possesses the required knowledge, skill, and physical ability to perform construction and maintenance duties related to trenching OSP networks. Experience in operating backhoes and mini excavators. Analyze job locations for utility line, permitting, and traffic control to complete construction activities without defects, safety incidents or any type of property damage Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the job and operate within a short time frame as needed Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team Must follow all safety policies and safety procedures Load material or equipment for transport from yard to job site and secure as appropriate Place, remove or maintain underground utilities as directed. This includes but is not limited to carrying pipe, bags of material and other heavy items, shoveling, tamping, and installing pipe, duct or cable Operates all equipment required to perform job Operate all vehicles, equipment and tools while adhering to company safety standards Secure work site, equipment, and materials at the end of each shift to ensure public safety and safety of equipment and materials Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required Travel required
3 year prior operating experience, advanced ability to run all types of equipment proficiently, such as mini-excavators, and skid steers. Qualifications Required: Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, OSP construction experience, strong work ethic, and willingness to work in a team environment.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour.
