Lead Full Stack Software Developer (Onsite/Re

We're seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer to help spearhead our eCommerce initiatives and drive the success of our diverse digital ecosystem. You'll help manage, guide, and optimize our core eCommerce platforms (Magento, BigCommerce, Volusion), streamline integrations between solutions using modern technologies, and contribute to the development of internal systems and processes. This is a highly impactful role where you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our online business and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership & Mentorship:
  • Lead a team of talented full-stack developers, establishing a collaborative environment that fosters growth and innovation.
  • Set clear coding standards, prioritize quality, and promote best practices for maintainable solutions.
  • Actively coach and mentor team members, facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• eCommerce Mastery:
  • Possess deep expertise in multiple eCommerce platforms, especially Magento and BigCommerce.
  • Oversee platform architecture, integrations, customizations, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, recommending and implementing platform upgrades or strategic shifts.
• Integration Champion:
  • Demonstrate a strong grasp of API design and implementation to successfully integrate eCommerce platforms with Celigo, NetSuite, and crucial business tools.
  • Maintain seamless data flow, ensuring optimal efficiency and automation.
• Strategic Project Management:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (product, marketing, etc.) to translate business requirements into actionable development plans.
  • Effectively manage project lifecycles, deadlines, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provide clear communication, regular progress reports, and transparent risk mitigation strategies.
• Beyond eCommerce:
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal applications that support business operations.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and streamline workflows using automation tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of hands-on full-stack development experience with a proven track record.
• 2 years in a leadership role, managing, mentoring, and motivating technical teams.
• Demonstrated proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.
• Extensive experience in building and maintaining eCommerce applications on Magento and BigCommerce.
• Familiarity with modern iPaaS solutions, NetSuite, and similar integrations platforms is a major advantage.
• Strong understanding of API principles and best practices.
• A passion for solving complex problems, finding creative solutions, and delivering exceptional results.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

You'll Stand Out If You Have:

• Experience with CI/CD methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Mobile-first development experience.
