What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Roofing Foreman position at Freedom RWS?
Freedom Roofing, Windows and Siding is seeking a professional, skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Roofing Foreman to join our growing commercial division. Working primarily with TPO, EPDM, and PVC, you should have strong knowledge of at least one of these systems.
Your role is to lead a roofing crew to perform work safely and productively to the standards of both the customer and the company, while effectively managing labor, materials, equipment, and any related administrative duties.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate a 5-15 man roofing crew from tear-off to installation and finish work.
- Provide crew members with regular training, oversight, evaluation, and feedback.
- Influence the crew to work with discipline and efficiency, with an emphasis on safety.
- Communicate and manage job-specific safety plans prior to the start of each job.
- Plan daily work objectives to ensure jobs remain on schedule.
- Inspect safety equipment and PPE daily before use.
- Record work performed each day in our CRM system.
- Communicate effectively with clients and building owners.
- Participate in operations and client meetings as-needed.
Requirements/Qualifications
- 1 years of commercial roofing experience in either TPO, EPDM, or PVC.
- Ability to use all tools related to roofing installation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, including materials and equipment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to talk and listen to both clients and crew members.
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
