Summary

Enterprise data steward I has accountability for the enterprise data and reporting posture in MDM by managing customer data assets, data lineage and data access. This role requires focus on the CRM/CMA/SAP data mastering execution (onboarding, processing, research, etc.), plus implementation of data best practices/tips, data exceptions, strategy and reporting to sure that data policies and data standards are adhered to on a daily basis. Makes well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous data issues and establishes the CRM/CMA/SAP data stewardship process and direction for the team. Effectively communicates to individuals at various levels of the technical and business communities. This person will interface and communicate with the core enterprise teams (SE, IT, Growth, etc.) as well as with business owners with customer data issues on a daily basis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for taking care of the enterprise master and reference data as an asset for the Freeman Organization (customer, event, product, facility, reference data, etc.)
  • Onboarding customers from enterprise source systems via MDM (Profisee)
  • Onboarding and maintaining the enterprise facility data asset in the Facility Management application and SAP
  • Processing CRM/CMA/SAP records out of the MDM queue (exceptions – missing or misleading information, duplications) and communicating resolutions with the record owner
  • Help in managing internal and maintaining external reference data changes (i.e Buying Status vs. Country & State)
  • Processing Mergers/Acquisitions/ in MDM and Salesforce/CMA/SAP
  • Ability to perform Duns Research
  • Processing customer change requests (customer name, billing address, account owner, etc.)
  • Responsible for data quality and data accuracy between Salesforce/CMA/SAP and MDM hub
  • Responsible for defining standards and best practices for data analysis
  • Responsible for understanding end to end data flow and dependencies between the CRM/CMA/SAP and MDM systems

Education & Experience

  • 0-2 years of experience in the data application steward role or equivalent data processing role
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Technical knowledge in data architecture principles and design (understanding to the Freeman data strategy model & architecture) and data domains
  • Professional communication skills verbally and in writing required. Excellent customer service skills over the phone and via email with internal or external customers required.
  • Result oriented, diligent, and works with the sense of urgency
  • Influential, versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
