Summary
Oversees all day to day graphic production. Monitors staff’s production for layout, printing, finishing and packaging. Responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards and ensuring all critical deadlines are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Works with Manager – Graphics to develop and maintain consistent processes and procedures for branch graphic production.
Assists with staff scheduling as needed.
Develops best practices/policies for graphic production.
Assists with graphic production to maintain appropriate service levels.
Maintains adequate material inventories for production needs.
Reviews quality of products to ensure quality service levels.
Monitors and reports measurable service quality improvements or lack thereof, and reports findings to management.
Promotes a high standard of quality service for which Freeman is known.
Has and maintains a thorough and up to date knowledge of the Company’s graphic products, services and capabilities.
Maintains personal workspace, documents and works-in-progress in a clean, organized fashion.
Participates in and achieves superior performance in work related training programs as assigned by graphics manager. Requests additional training as needed.
Adheres to and assures compliance of Company policies and procedures.
Outsourcing graphic production needs to appropriate outsource partners.
Primary point of contact for outsource partners and Freeman event support team.
Travel to show site when scheduled for supporting graphic needs.
Works closely with Layout Specialist, GAMs from planning through show close.
Drives QC with outsource partners to ensure deliverables meet GPO details.
Oversight of graphic invoicing verifying accuracy with services rendered.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent, with project management experience in a tradeshow or a convention graphics environment. Bachelors or Associates degree in related field preferred.
2 or more years’ experience with various graphic printers and applications (UV, dye sublimation, solvent base, etc.)
Must be highly organized, detailed oriented, and quality conscious, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Good written and verbal communication skills required.
Proficiency with PC and Macintosh operating systems a plus.
