Position: HR Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Market Segments: Nutraceuticals Reporting to: HR Manager Location: Edison, NJ Type: Full Time, Hybrid
Position Overview: The HR Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department by assisting with various administrative tasks, managing recruitment processes, and providing general HR support to employees. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist with the recruitment process by posting job advertisements via ATS, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews via LinkedIn.
Conduct initial screenings of candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Assist in conducting reference checks and verifying employment backgrounds.
Prepare offer letters for successful candidates.
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding processes.
HR Coordination:
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS/Payroll system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist and prepare HR-related documents, such as sending employment offers, HR policies, and procedures.
Assist with HR projects, including employee engagement initiatives, performance management, and training programs.
Manage HR databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and generating reports as needed.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
General Administrative Support:
Manage HR-related documentation and filing systems.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, and appointments for different departmental needs.
Handle onboarding orientation decks for new hires.
Assist in organizing company events for the office, employee training sessions, and workshops.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proven work experience in HR administration, recruitment, or a similar role.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in HR software, ATS (JazzHR preferable but not required) databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization.
