Job Description:
Release train engineer (RTE) is responsible for ensuring the agile release train (parallel agile teams) work well together. He leads and coaches the release train and facilitates PI planning, scrum of scrums and works with scrum masters of different agile teams in the release train. Our program is SAP transformation project hence resource must have an ERP and SAP background.
Technical Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to Agile processes for project execution
Manage and prioritize flow of work through program release train
Define scrum team structure and resource requirements
Manage scrum teams and ensure efficient functioning and productivity
Manage effective utilization of available Agile tools
Run scrum of scrums cadence
Support product manager as necessary
Facilitate risk management to ensure impediments are removed
Manage dependencies
Organize workload for each program increment
Facilitate PI planning
Coach and guide teams and scrum masters in Agile practices and processes
Must Have Technical Qualifications:
Must have ERP and SAP implementation background
Rich experience in Agile processes and procedures
Prior experience as a scrum master
Firm grasp of SAFe framework
Certified Scrum master
Knowledge of release management
Must Have Business Qualifications:
Excellent communication and co-ordination skills
Ability to manage multiple teams
Complex problem solving skills
Excellent decision making skills
Good knowledge of SAP business process and SAP implementation framework
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
