DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
Provides administrative supervision and coordinates the scheduling of admitting personnel including recommendations as to the hiring, firing, advancement promotion or any other status changes. Responsible for administrative services including but not limited to records, information management, insurance, deposits/cash logs and billing inquiries.
Compile, process, and maintain medical records of hospital and clinic patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system. Process, maintain, compile, and report patient information for health requirements and standards in a manner consistent with the healthcare industry’s numerical coding system.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
High school education, college degree preferred

EXPERIENCE
Registered Health Information Technician or RHI Manager
Experience in Hospital or related field in area of Billing, Business Office or Revenue Cycle Management
Efficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
