Freetown Animal Hospital is seeking a PT Veterinary Assistant/Technician

Freetown Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced part-time veterinary assistant/ technician. Approximately 20 hrs per week. Duties include assisting the Veterinarian with routine patient appointments, filling medications, taking patient history, answering phones. Knowledge of general client education topics including preventive care, nutrition, general care is expected. Check-in and out procedures, assisting with surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, recovering patients. animal restraint, blood draws, taking radiographs, running in house lab work, Involves lifting and some cleaning. Basic computer skills and the ability to multi-task is preferred.

Minimum of 1 yrs experience as a veterinary technician preferred.

Pay based on experience
