What Will You Do?
The Role:
We are seeking a Content Manager to join our team. The Content Manager is responsible for writing٫ improving, editing, and maintaining content for our various marketing channels. Duties will include raising brand awareness by sharing content٫ and monitoring web traffic and metrics with the interest of maintaining best practices. This person will manage/schedule content calendar, and publish content on Wordpress . He/She will oversee the distribution of content, ensure their team meets production deadlines and deliver measurable value content.
As part of their responsibilities, he/she will manage external content vendors and develop specifications and content briefs for external writers. They requires a mix of project management, writing, analytical, and time management skills. They will report to the Vice President, Marketing.

- Manage a team of both internal and external content writers to develop content that is engaging and SEO optimized.
- Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print and use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results.
- Manage and develop content/media calendar for the organization and multiple brands.
- The content marketing program needs to deliver measurable value (not just clicks) and will track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels.
- Writing press releases and other media communications to promote company and creating internal communications to employees.

- Serve as an in-house editor for all external content, including with leading trade publications, guest blogs and other content partners
- Review content produced by other team members and stakeholders to ensure adherence to marketing goals, brand standards and style guides.
- Designing and implementing creative marketing strategies to disseminate content.
- Manage the content marketing budget.
- Collaborate with our SEO Manage to deliver on SEO best practices and guidelines.
- Manage the content calendar and develop a roadmap for content that aligns against integrated marketing initiatives like campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or comparable discipline.
- Experience writing content for both digital and traditional space and/or insurance a plus
- 5 years in content marketing.
- Ability to take complex information and communicate it clearly in simple and understandable language for our target audiences.
- Strong teamwork skills in order to work collaboratively with marketing team and other department managers.
