What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Box Unloaders position at Freight Breakers?
We are looking for 1st Shift Box Unloaders to join our team in Summerville, SC!
We are unloading boxes of furniture, including chairs, tables, stands, case goods and accessories by hand onto a pallet that, when full, is lightly wrapped and taken away by a forklift operator while the next pallet is being completed. You aren't scanning anything or tracking inventory with a computer. We are just unloading these boxes as fast and as accurately as possible.
Pay:
- Paid per trailer unloaded (No limit, usually 2-3 trailers per person). On average $120-$200 per day or $15-$25 per hour.
- The faster and harder you work, the more money you make.
- Note: other hourly work will usually be available when container availability is low.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM.
Requirements:
- ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED!!!!
- MUST BE ON TIME!!!
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 80LBS. (some products require 2 people)
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work consistently for long periods of time.
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
