About the Job New & Newer Equipment Available: 2020- 2024 Freightliner Cascadia; Operating areas: Midwest, Southeast and occasional runs to Northeast (no NYC); 24/7 dispatch assistance; Fuel company cards; Weekly settlements; *Additional Info: Layover, detention - paid; Referral bonus; Performance bonus; Safety bonus; Additional stop pay; Job Summary Contract Driver (1099, Solo) Refrigerated OTR $1,500 - $2,200 gross total weekly avg. pay $0.60 - $0.63 CPM 2,500 - 3,200 avg. miles per week $1,000 sign on bonus Line Haul No Driver Load/Unload No slip seating Home Time 14 - 21 expected days out You can stay out longer if you want to Get 3 days of home time for every 14 days worked Home at least one weekend per month Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure. Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports. Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations. Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations. Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
