Duties:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients
- Help with banquet setup and breakdown, including table setting and decoration
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in food preparation and presentation
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
