Job Summary POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Operator Level 3 is responsible for, but not limited to, the scheduling, receipt, and storage of inbound shipments of material into the facility. Upon receipt, the operator is responsible for the accurate entry of materials into the SAP inventory system, and all labelling and storage of said materials. Extensive daily communication with Incoming Quality Control is re quired to arrange for the efficient inspection and testing of inbound material. In addition to inbound vendor shipments, the operator also manages the transfer of materials to and from the off-site storage facility. This requires daily monitoring of stock levels for various materials and consulting production and packaging schedules to ensure that required quantities of components are available within a given timeframe. Other material handling responsibilities include but are not limited to: loading/unloading trucks, picking of orders of material for production and packaging, repalletize material, support cycle counting, drums containing flammable liquids, gas cylinders, stacks of wooden, plastic, or metal pallets, and formulation tanks, wrapping, movement, labelling, and storage of semi-finished and finished product from production and packaging. The operator must utilize several forms of powered industrial equipment in the course of their daily duties. They are also responsible for the mastery of various transactions in SAP (both P83 and P55) utilizing both RF devices and desktop computers. As business dictates, the Warehouse Operator III will be required to perform the job functions of Warehouse Operator I II. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor, and maintains contact with Warehouse Group Leader, other Warehouse Operators, and personnel from various other departments during the regular course of duties. Responsibilities PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT · Schedules shipping and delivery appointments · Responsible for the accurate receipt of inbound material o Checks in drivers for scheduled delivery appointments, confirming all appropriate documents are in order o Inspects all incoming trucks for condition, temperature, and overall cleanliness o Compares data from various shipping documents to the physical shipment to ensure consistency and accuracy o Unloads material from trailer or container using powered equipment o Verifies and files all shipping documentation and associated records at the time of delivery and receipt o Inspects incoming material for shortage, damage, and tampering o Coordinates extensively with Incoming Quality Control to facilitate the testing and release of incoming materials · Manages daily inbound/outbound shipments of material to/from offsite storage · Manages daily shipments of finished product to Distribution Centers · Responsible for the proper handling and reconciliation of controlled substances associated with the preparation and delivery/staging of raw materials used in production as well as processing returns from production such as WIP and finished products. This includes compliance with documentation and accountability procedures. · Pick orders of material originating from the production, packaging, and formulation departments for use in production batches · Move, wrap, label, and store pallets of semi-finished product from production areas for further processing by inspection and packaging · Move, wrap, label, and store pallets of finished product from packaging areas for shipment · Move uninspected semi-finished product to inspection staging bays as requested by packaging personnel or inspection schedule · Move inspected semi-finished product to packaging bays as requested by packaging personnel or inspection schedule · Pick non-process orders, sample requests, and central stores orders · Sort and wrap trash, debris, and recyclable material from various areas of the facility, to ensure ease of transport and collection · Ship small packages, LTL shipments via FedEx and other carriers · Process returns from production/packaging/formulation · Process returns to suppliers (RTV) as instructed by purchasing team · Transport properly waste, components, semi-finished product, finished product, etc. to and from various buildings on site as needed · Assists personnel from warehouse and other departments by transporting supplies and equipment to and from various locations within the hygiene-zone · Maintain working area cleanliness · Escalate immediately any issues impacting job function · Ensure following procedures and cGMP including but not limited to assigned logbooks · Support, as needed, cycle counts and recounts · Problem solving and investigations support · Utilize various forms of powered and non-powered industrial equipment · Performs various transactions in P83 and P55 modules of SAP system · Performs duties of Warehouse Operator I and II as required · Other tasks as assigned REQUIREMENTS · High school diploma/GED required. · 4 years of warehouse experience required; including receiving experience, experience with powered industrial equipment, and SAP (or similar Warehouse Management system) experience. · Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry experience preferred. · Basic computer skills required. · Ability to perform mathematical calculations with the use of a calculator is required.
