Job Summary
The Receiver is responsible for all facets of receiving inbound shipments. Accurately records all inventory receipts into SAP and Apriso and receives and distributes all MRO material. The Receiver must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and have strong organizational skills.Responsibilities
- Count packages and check for damage upon receipt for parcel and freight deliveries.
- Communicate any damage to the Supply Chain Management group
- Authenticate BOLs and matches packing slips to ensure the delivery is accurate.
- Communicate all discrepancies to Supply Chain Management and help resolve issues.
- Organize and segregate inbound packages based on vendor or material type.
- Receive parts into SAP and Apriso ensuring packing slip data matches purchase order criteria.
- Attach the packing slip to the purchase order in SAP.
- Create receiving labels and properly apply them to boxes and packages.
- Move material that requires receiving inspection to the designated receiving inspection areas.
- Provide receiving inspection with pertinent documents that were received with the shipment.
- Perform all pertinent transactions for outgoing and incoming RMA materials.
- Segregate and forward incoming complaint material to the designated personnel.
- Segregate and forward incoming MRO material to the requisitioner.
- May use hand and/or powered industrial equipment to move material between locations.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1 years of experience at a position of responsibility in a warehouse or inventory control role and a good working knowledge of all functional areas of the warehouse is required.
- Knowledge in SAP (or equivalent system) and a Manufacturing Execution System is preferred.
- Knowledge of Word & Excel is preferred.
