What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Administrator position at Fresh Start Contracting?
We are a residential general contracting company located in Burlington, MA. We work with renovations, restorations, rehabs and repairs of all kinds on our clients' homes.
Over the past 16 years in business, we have seen tremendous growth with our skilled team of carpenters, managers, and general laborers. We are looking to add another skilled member to our team. This position is for an ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR.
The responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- Data entry of receipts and bills into QuickBooks
- Organizing and managing paying vendor and subcontractor bills
- Tracking Certificates of Insurance for subcontractors
- Filing all paperwork
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies
- Assisting in the drafting of memos and notices for the business
- And other miscellaneous duties as needed
Requirements are:
- Must be acquainted with QuickBooks
- Be Microsoft Office proficient: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- MUST be able to adapt to new software
- MUST be detail oriented
- Be technologically proficient: e-mail, smartphone, texting
- Have the ability to be a team member and work directly with the Office Manager on a daily basis
- Possess good listening and communication skills
- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Be goal driven and self-motivated
- Have experience working in an office setting
