Responsibilities:
- Supports the LC Manager in the definition and tracking of annual targets and projects to meet and implement supply chain strategies aligned with overall business targets. Special focus is on inventory and on-time delivery targets.
- Leads a team of purchasing specialists and ensures on-time availability of raw materials and indirect material.
- Leads a team of planners and SAP specialists and consistently optimizes and harmonizes processes within the Manchester facility to best support operations.
- Connects to all relevant corporate functions especially SCM, Procurement and Customer Service.
- Leads the warehouse and the material handling group and ensures timely and efficient service.
- Executes and manages special projects for the Manchester site and within North America such as warehouse move and business relocations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on manufacturing operations.
- Proven track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes, reducing costs, and improving efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading and motivating teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems, inventory management software, and data analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
